Random Sights from Saint Germain

This morning we decided to take a walk to our favorite market on Rue Mouffetard.   As we passed by an old church, I noticed this door that looks like it dates from medieval times.

We intentionally searched for narrow winding streets as we made our way from Pont Neuf to Rue Monge.  This is but one example.

Every time I see an old bicycle left on the side of the street in what looks like an interesting setting, I have to stop to take a picture.   This one was in a covered alley.

At the market, we bought olives, herbs and wine for tonight's lamb dinner, and cheese.  We found a wonderful cheese shop.  Here's a sample of their wares.

Hope you enjoyed today's postcards from Paris.
