Lunch on Saturday, 8/31

We were walking around exploring St. Germaine on Saturday, looking for an outdoor market, which we never found, when we got hungry and decided to stop at this little restaurant.

Cote Bergamote restaurant in Saint Germaine.

We had a delightful lunch at Cote Bergamote, sitting outside, just across the street from a mall called Marche (Market) Saint Germaine.

For entrees (starters or appetizers) we had salmon tartare and a tomato and mozzarella salad.

Salmon tartare.

Notice the tomatoes are peeled.

For the main course we had beef tartare and duck.  Both were very well prepared and delicious.

Duck with mashed potatoes.

Raw red meat (with cooked potatoes).

But what we thought was neat was their wine cooler.  We had to show this.

Plastic bag with ice to keep the rose cool.

I know it's not as enjoyable to see the lunch as it is to eat it, but that's the best we can do.
